Jetour, a sub-brand of Chery, has officially unveiled the 2025 Jetour Traveler in China, introducing subtle design refinements and tech enhancements. The latest model is available in seven different variants, with prices starting at 139,900 yuan (approximately $19,140). This follows the initial launch of the Traveler back in September 2023.
While the core design remains familiar, the 2025 version introduces two fresh paint options—Glacier White and Evergreen—alongside a Champagne Gold trim package. Other exterior updates include Jetour’s crystal chrome badging, a new Velvet Gray hood handle, and redesigned 18-inch alloy wheels that give the SUV a slightly refreshed look.
Inside, the updates are minimal but noticeable. The air-conditioning vents have been redesigned, and the key fob now features an improved design. On the tech front, Jetour has upgraded the infotainment system, enhancing the “Xiao Jie” voice assistant with a more dynamic and visually appealing interface. These improvements will also be available to existing Jetour Traveler owners via an over-the-air (OTA) update.

Under the hood, the powertrain options remain unchanged. Buyers can choose between a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 184 hp and 290 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) in a two-wheel-drive setup, or a more powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivering 254 hp and 390 Nm of torque. The latter is available with either a 7-speed DCT (4WD) or an 8-speed torque converter automatic. Four-wheel-drive models also benefit from Chery’s XWD intelligent AWD system.

Size-wise, the Jetour Traveler measures 4,785 mm in length, 2,006 mm in width, and 1,880 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,800 mm. This makes it comparable in size to the Mazda CX-50, which has similar length and wheelbase measurements but is slightly narrower and shorter in height.

As part of Jetour’s global expansion strategy under Chery, the Traveler has already made its way to international markets, including Russia, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. More regions are expected to gain access to the model as Jetour continues to strengthen its global footprint.
