Bang & Olufsen has teamed up with Italian stone specialist Antolini to unveil a limited-edition speaker that blurs the lines between technology and fine art. Revealed during Milan Design Week, the Beosound Balance Natura is a handcrafted audio masterpiece available in only 16 made-to-order pieces worldwide.

This unique speaker is built around Bang & Olufsen’s iconic Beosound Balance model, but what sets the Natura edition apart is its sculptural base, carved from rare, natural stones sourced from Antolini’s Exclusive and Precioustone Collections. Each speaker is custom-made using materials such as Cristallo Iceberg quartz, Cristallo Rosa ‘Wow’, and fossilized woods in deep earthy tones. These stones add both visual depth and textural contrast, giving the piece a museum-quality presence.

The speaker is designed to function as both a high-performance audio device and a luxurious interior statement. A custom-matched anodized aluminum ring connects the speaker to its stone base, creating a smooth transition between the precision of modern engineering and the raw beauty of nature. This visual harmony also supports acoustic performance, as the solid base helps absorb vibrations and ensures clean, immersive sound.

This collaboration is part of Bang & Olufsen’s Atelier Bespoke program, which focuses on exclusive, tailor-made pieces that reflect the brand’s craftsmanship and innovation. Working with Antolini allowed them to create something truly exceptional, combining Italian material artistry with Scandinavian design heritage.

Buyers can select their own stone combination from Antolini’s rarest selections, including the translucent quartz varieties and richly patterned petrified wood. Each speaker is entirely unique, not just in appearance but in how the materials respond to light and space. No two will ever be the same.
Because of the highly personalized nature of the Beosound Balance Natura, and its extremely limited production, it will only be available through direct consultation. This is not just a product for audiophiles but a collector’s piece meant for those who appreciate design, material rarity, and craftsmanship at the highest level.
