Luxury audio brand Bowers & Wilkins has once again partnered with McLaren Automotive to introduce a special edition of its premium Pi8 wireless earbuds. The Pi8 McLaren Edition brings a refined design inspired by McLaren’s iconic aesthetics while maintaining the outstanding sound quality Bowers & Wilkins is known for.

The earbuds and their charging case feature a sophisticated Galvanic Grey finish, accented with McLaren’s signature Papaya Orange. This bold color choice dates back to 1968 when Bruce McLaren’s racing team selected it for its high visibility on black-and-white television broadcasts. The McLaren Edition also includes a subtle rendition of the brand’s ‘Swoosh’ logo for an exclusive touch.
While the Pi8 McLaren Edition doesn’t introduce new technical enhancements, it represents the latest expansion of a long-standing collaboration. Bowers & Wilkins has previously released McLaren-branded versions of its Px8 over-ear headphones and Zeppelin speaker. The company has also been supplying custom audio systems for McLaren’s high-performance vehicles since 2015, including the recently unveiled W1 Ultimate Series supercar.

Beyond the earbuds themselves, this partnership extends into the world of Formula 1. Bowers & Wilkins products will be integrated into the McLaren F1 Team’s operations throughout the 2025 season as they travel across the globe. This move further solidifies the connection between cutting-edge automotive technology and premium audio engineering.
For audio and automotive enthusiasts alike, the Pi8 McLaren Edition offers a visually striking alternative to conventional wireless earbuds while upholding the exceptional sound quality expected from Bowers & Wilkins. The collaboration is a testament to both brands’ shared passion for performance, innovation, and craftsmanship.
