Edifier is stepping up the game in the world of true wireless earbuds with its latest release, the LolliClip — a $130 pair of open-fit earbuds that dares to blend comfort, fitness tracking, and premium audio features in one sleek package. Available in black or white, these futuristic clip-on buds are now ready for order on Amazon.

While most open-ear designs sacrifice sound isolation for comfort, Edifier isn’t settling for the basics. The LolliClip introduces active noise cancellation, a feature often reserved for closed, in-ear models with silicone tips. Although open-fit earbuds typically struggle to block out external noise, the unique clip-on form of the LolliClip allows the speaker to sit closer to the ear canal than most earhook designs. That positioning may give it an advantage, potentially delivering more effective noise reduction than rivals like the Oladance OWS Pro, and possibly approaching the performance of semi-open models like Apple’s rumored AirPods 4.

Beyond audio, Edifier has integrated wellness tech that’s rarely found in earbuds, especially in open-ear designs. With built-in heart rate and blood oxygen sensors, the LolliClip doubles as a discreet health companion. These features, accessible through the Edifier ConneX app, set a new benchmark. For context, Beats’ latest Powerbeats Pro 2 only offer heart rate tracking, and even high-end options like the Sennheiser Momentum Sport skip blood oxygen monitoring altogether.
When it comes to sound quality, Edifier didn’t hold back. The LolliClip supports LDAC, Sony’s high-resolution Bluetooth codec, giving Android users a noticeable bump in audio fidelity — ideal for streaming lossless music. Spatial audio also makes an appearance, complete with head-tracking functionality that keeps dialogue and effects anchored in place as your head moves, enhancing immersion during movies or games.
Other smart features round out the experience, including wear detection, low-latency gaming mode, and Bluetooth 5.4 with multipoint support, allowing the earbuds to connect to two devices at once. However, one notable omission is Auracast, which would’ve enabled broadcast-style audio sharing.
Designed with active lifestyles in mind, the LolliClip comes with an IP56 rating for protection against dust, water, and sweat — making them a solid companion for workouts or outdoor activities. Battery life clocks in at around 9 hours on a single charge, and up to 39 hours total when combined with the charging case. These figures are based on AAC playback at 80% volume, so runtime may dip slightly when using features like ANC, LDAC, or spatial audio.

With this launch, Edifier isn’t just adding another open-ear model to the mix — it’s setting a new standard for what these types of earbuds can offer.
