Focal has introduced its latest premium wireless headphones, the Bathys MG, designed to deliver high-fidelity audio with a sleek, sophisticated aesthetic. Inspired by the brand’s Clear MG model, these headphones feature a warm chestnut brown finish, combining elegance with cutting-edge technology.

A key highlight of the Bathys MG is its custom-built speaker drivers made in France. Constructed with magnesium and shaped in an ‘M’-design dome, these drivers enhance clarity, depth, and natural sound reproduction without the need for wires. Focal has also integrated Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), ensuring an immersive listening experience by eliminating external distractions.
Comfort is a priority in the Bathys MG’s design. The headband is wrapped in premium leather, while the earpads feature ergonomic foam for long listening sessions. The frame incorporates durable magnesium and aluminum, making the headphones both lightweight and sturdy. Weighing just 350g, they are easy to carry without compromising durability.

On the connectivity front, the headphones support Bluetooth 5.2 with multipoint pairing, allowing seamless switching between devices. Battery life lasts up to 30 hours on a single charge, but users can extend it to 42 hours when using the wired USB-DAC mode. A quick 15-minute charge provides an additional five hours of playback. Supported codecs include SBC, AAC, aptX Adaptive, and aptX.
Focal has included a stylish, tonal rigid carrying case to keep the headphones secure while traveling. Set to launch in April, the Bathys MG will be available for $1,299 USD / £999 GBP, offering a premium listening experience for audiophiles.
