OPPO is reportedly working on a new addition to its smartwatch lineup, the OPPO Watch X2 Mini. While the company has yet to confirm any details, recent leaks suggest that this smaller version will retain many of the features of its larger counterpart, the OPPO Watch X2. A newly surfaced promo poster and industry insiders hint at what this upcoming smartwatch might offer.

Though the exact display size remains unknown, the Watch X2 Mini is rumored to feature a 60Hz LTPO AMOLED screen with an impressive 2,200-nit peak brightness, ensuring clear visibility even in bright conditions. The smartwatch is expected to use a dual-chip system, combining a Snapdragon W5 chipset for Wear OS 5 and a BES2800 MCU running an RTOS system, which could improve efficiency and battery life.
Battery life estimates suggest the Watch X2 Mini may last up to three days in Smart Mode and six to eight days in Power Saver Mode. For comparison, the larger OPPO Watch X2 is said to offer five days in Smart Mode and sixteen days in Power Saver Mode.
Health and fitness tracking are expected to be key highlights. Rumors indicate the smartwatch will include an optical heart rate sensor, SpO2 monitoring, fall detection, and a 60-second health check, making it a strong option for health-conscious users. Reports also suggest the device could feature 32GB of storage and 2GB of RAM, providing ample space for apps and smooth performance.
In terms of durability, leaks claim the Watch X2 Mini may have an IP68 rating and 5ATM water resistance, making it suitable for workouts and swimming. The design is likely to be similar to the standard Watch X2, but the promo poster offers only a limited preview of its appearance.
As OPPO has not officially announced the Watch X2 Mini, these details should be taken as speculation. However, if the leaks are accurate, this compact smartwatch could be an exciting addition to the market. More information is expected to surface as its official launch approaches.
